I really have no business with a computer

So, I still need help with my iTunes.

Also, I really wanted to post this video on my blog here, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. So, if you're interested (hopefully) you can follow the link to a sad super bowl related church video.

I've got nothing against the super bowl. I happen to love sports more than your average female. And the super bowl is a great occasion for a party. If we had good reception on our t.v. we might host one, but I'm pretty sure no one wants to come over to watch it "snow" in Tampa.

  1. =) Okay, okay... So here's Christina being controversial. I definitely saw a couple "sad" aspects to the video, but I also found it... amusing.

I mean, I know nothing about this church and all... but what's wrong with cancelling an evening service (like we do with equipping hour occasionally around holidays) because of the Super Bowl and announcing it in a dramatic, memorable way?

  3. well, it depends...what kind of snacks would you be serving at your party???

Everyone loves that chili-cheese dip, right?

  4. I haven't seen the video yet...but I do stand behind the notion of recognizing that the super bowl is a cultural institution...to pretend it's not is sort of silly.

ok, I'll watch the video...so I can know what the heck I'm talking about.

p.s. I'll ask Rodney about the itunes thing...although you may want to drop an email to jon gedeon...he's pretty savvy.

  5. good tip on the j.g. for tech help, stacy.

I guess I'll have to break down and use good old fashioned email.

christina, I'm the controversial one around here. remember that.

I'd like to address your thoughtful comments over popcorn on a Sunday night sometime...

  7. Did you ever figure this out? On the video there's an "embed" button. Copy the code you get when you click on that and paste it into your Blogger post window except hit the "Edit HTML" link first. Then you can switch back to "Compose" and add whatever text you want.

Don't think I can help you with the iTunes problem. Sorry.
